Welcome to Driving Force School of Motoring, an independent company based in St.Andrews and covering the North East Fife area.
Driving Force is an independent driving school, established by Gordon Jackson in 2012 and specialising in lessons to teach clients to drive safely, not only in order to pass their driving test, but to go forward in their driving career. Gordon is a former Traffic Police Officer and trained to Advanced level for both cars and motorcycles. He is a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, a Grade A qualified DSA Approved Driving Instructor and a Pass Plus Registered Instructor. During his Police career, Gordon was responsible for the investigation of serious road crashes and developed a sound understanding of the causes of collisions, particularly among the young or inexperienced driver. This unique insight into driver behaviour is used when coaching pupils to ensure that they have the knowledge and ability to be a safe, confident and responsible driver for life.
Developing your observation and anticipation skills is the key to safe driving and with Driving Force you will gain as much experience as possible before you take your test.
You will find your time with Driving Force to be challenging yet supportive, progressing at a pace that you feel happy with. Learning to drive is a skill for life and I want all my pupils to enjoy the experience and become confident and skilled with every aspect of driving. Whether you’re a complete beginner, getting into the driving seat for the first time, or if you’ve had time behind the wheel already, your road to independence starts here. Everyone learns at a different rate, whatever you try to achieve in life, and driving is no exception. Your lessons will be tailored to your needs and at a pace suited to you. Your strengths and weaknesses will be identified early in your course to help you get the best out of your driving experience.
